About MII Membership

Contributing members shall include any contributing Masonry Contractors, Brick Manufacturers, Brick Distributors, Block Manufacturers, Stone Manufacturers or Mortar material suppliers performing business or trade under division four in the State of Iowa.

Union Bricklayers
• per man-hour worked

Union Laborers
• per man-hour worked

Mason Contractors
• matching contractor contributions on bricklayers and laborers

Brick Manufacturers / Distributors
• per thousand modular brick equivalents sold in the State

Block Producers
• per thousand eight inch block equivalents sold in the State
• per unit on imported decorative materials

Stone / Cast Stone Manufacturers
• per cubic foot of stone/cast stone sold in the state

Associate Members
Associate members shall be any other person, firm, corporation, trust, or association having an interest in the purpose and objectives of the Institute. Associate Members contribute annual dues.

Design Partner Membership
$100/year

For architectural and engineering firms, this membership is designed to partner our industries to design and build masonry in Iowa. This membership will not have voting privileges and will not serve on the MII board. It would be classified as a “firm” membership.

Benefits:

• Each membership will receive three (3) entries/registrations in any combination: Architectural Awards Entry, Spring Seminar Registration ($50-$60 value each)
• Discounted pricing at all MII sponsored seminars (approx. 50% discount) for all additional registrations 
• Communications from MII
• Opportunity to serve on MII’s committees
• First access to MII’s Lunch and Learns
